Baden – Württemberg’s newcomer bands

In different programmes bands, who can apply for the support programme at Popbüro Stuttgart or direct at House of Music, are looked after individually.

Goal: A professional sounding record of one or more songs, which are chosen with the band previously.
The programme sees the base as a “Weekend-Studio-Workshop“ in which the band from Friday to Sunday (incl. accomodation) in collaboration with our producers and sound engineers makes a high quality demo, which, depending on the playing ability, can include up to three songs.

Though we put the focus on the understanding of the chain in case of studio work, precicion of play, as well as the differences between live shows and studio recordings. Upon receipt of the demos or after classification of the website / myspace site, a competent jury decides on the basis of the grade of talent and the grade of originality about the number of participants.

The “Workshoping” bands naturally get all the records and mixes of their song(s) at their disposal, without legal restrictions. The costs for this workshop amount to 390,- €.

If single bands are interested in advanced programmes, these can be developed individually and according to the band at any time. The continuation of the workshops with exeptional prices is possible up to a complete album production.
